Small World Catering, located on a side street off Haarlemmerdijk, is more than just a sandwich shop but deserves nothing but praise for its sandwiches. Owner Sean runs the place with his partner and a team of friendly individuals who are passionate about good food. The sandwich with salmon fishcake is an absolute highlight, but be warned: they are so sizeable that you might prefer to share them.

Loof has quickly become a household name in Amsterdam-West and beyond. The bread from Loof is simply so good that you’d go out of your way for it. Their croissants are crisper than ever, and the raisin bun with cheese is a perfect example of how great Dutch simplicity can be.
