Boston Evening OBITUARIES J. M. Barry killed in raid in Indochina I Army Sp4 J. Michael Barry, 21, of 89 Gilbert Quincy, will be buried Thursday after a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St.

John's Church in Quincy. Mr. Barry was killed on April 9 in an early morning attack on Cam Ranh Bay base in Vietnam. Four other persons died, and nine wounded. He attended St.

John's parochial school and graduated from Archbishop Williams High School in 1968. He then attended Assumption College in Worcester for two years and served for several months in the National Guard. Barry trained at Ft. Benning. and was sent to Vietnam last May.

He leaves his parents, George J. and Margaret M. (Chisholm) Barry; one brother, Airman 1c George who is stationed in Texas; two sisters, Lorraine A. and Wanda M. Barry, both of Quincy, and a grandfather, David Barry of Quincy.

He will be buried at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Thomas McGee Globe engraver Thomas P. McGee, a photoengraver for the old Boston Post for 38 years who later worked for the Boston Globe, died yesterday morning at Leonard Morse Hospital, Natick, after a long illness. He was 83.

Mr. McGee started work at the Post in 1918 and remained there until the paper ceased publication in 1956. He was a Globe photoengraver until his retirement in 1958. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Mr.

McGee lived with his wife, Irene (Lister) McGee, at 75 West Central Natick. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Deslongchamps of Natick and Mrs. Irene Pouplis of Cochituate, and six grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

tomorrow at the Church of St. Patrick in Natick, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Richard Riga Winchester contractor Richard Riga, a Winchester building contractor for the last 30 years, died yesterday morning at Winchester Hospital after a brief illness. He was 68.

He was the owner of the Richard Riga Construction Co. and had lived at 365 Cross Winchester. Born in Italy, Mr. Riga came to Winchester 54 years ago. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth M.

(Millyan) Riga, who died last month. He was a charter member of Winchester Lodge 1580, Sons of Italy. He is survived by two sons, Joseph J. Riga and Richard P. Riga, both of Winchester, and two grandchildren.
